Live-in GatemanJob Title Live-in GatemanKey Responsibilitieso Access Control Monitor and record the entry and exit of patients, visitors, and staff to ensure a secure environment. o Hospital Errands Deliver medical records, laboratory samples, and documents between departments or to external partners. o Patient Assistance Cheerfully assist patients (especially expectant mothers and the elderly) with directions and entry into the facility. o Security & Surveillance Conduct regular patrols of the hospital perimeter and report any safety hazards or suspicious activities. o Logistics Support Assist with the receipt and distribution of hospital supplies and mail. o General Repairs Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on plumbing (leaks, blockages), electrical systems (lighting, sockets), and structural fittings. o Equipment Upkeep Assist in the basic maintenance of hospital generators, water pumps, and air conditioning units. o Facility Inspections Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify and fix minor issues before they escalate. o Safety Compliance Ensure the hospital premises are safe and that all repairs meet safety and hygiene standards for a medical environment. o Vendor Liaison Assist management in supervising external contractors for major technical projects. Requirementso Experience Proven experience in general maintenance, security, o Professionalism Punctuality, cleanliness, and a respectful attitude toward patients and medical staff. o Character Evidence of a "born-again" Christian life and alignment with the hospital's faith-based mission. o Communication Ability to speak and write clearly in English proficiency in Igbo is an advantage. o Attributes Honest, vigilant, and physically fit. o Technical Skills Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical faults. o Reliability Willingness to be "on-call" for emergency repairs outside of regular shifts. o Values A committed Christian with a strong sense of integrity and professional excellence.
